I like the SPinners version of the old FOur Seasons song "Workin my way back to you, babe", also, Hank WIlliams Jr. did a great version of Lynyrd Skynyrds "Tuesdays Gone".

´hallelujah´ by jeff buckley is really great, even though i love leonard cohen. Nirvana covers ´Where did you sleep last night´, orginally by ledbelly and bowies´´The man who stold the world´. funny that, i like all the versions and the originals. i would say my favorite is the first, jeff buckley.

There are way too many to pick one favorite, but off the top of my head: KISS's cover of the Stones "2000 Man". I think it's one of the very rare cases where the remake improves vastly on the original.

I wouldn't say they're my favorite cover versions, but I like them. The two that immediately come to mind are: Smashmouth's version of "I Can't Get Enough Of You Baby" (orig. by ? and The Mysterians -- read: Question Mark and The Mysterians). I also thought that Save Ferris did a good job with "Come on Eliene", orig. by Dexy's Midnight Runners.
