  • I think that due to human nature and how corruption and power are attractive to some men (and women) that microchips open the door for many new forms of oppression and tyranny. Such a technology has its up side, such has being able to hold your medical records or a medical ID which can be scanned while you are unconscious in ER to find out who you are and what all of your medical history is so fewer mistakes are made. But then there is Medic Alert necklaces/bracelets that do pretty much the same job with at 24/7 toll free number where medical records can be sent via the internet to any hospital. I can think of an alternative to each and every "use" of such a chip system that is offered. Aside of the dire warnings of The Mark of the Beast - human nature is such that it should not be trusted. We live in a world where people still live under a dictatorship. To develop any technology that can be abused by those dictatorships is wrong. It adds to the problem, it does not resolve those problems. Mankind has a tendency to ask "Can we do _______" Rarely does it ask "Should we do ___________" I think in the case of microchip implants we need to really pay attention to the potential consequences, not just for those in "free societies" but those who reside in societies where freedoms are limited and such a chip would tighten the oppressors grip.
  • I think it is just one more step to the Beast and his New World Order system. The prophecies of Revelation are being fulfilled very quickly and the Lord is returning very soon. I hope that this helps. :) -In the Master's service. Thank you and God bless you!
  • I think it very probable that this wil be the thing that is used by the beast to enable one to buy and sell goods. I think it also very possible that the beast could even be a cyborg or something along those lines. Perhaps just a comptuer even.
  • It's scary to think about how many problems chips like that will cause in the long run... Just like anything else I think that over time it will be taken to an extreme and the technology will be used to harm people rather than help them. Seems to be the human way of doing things.
  • Bring it on!. Well, hang on - Who (in the microchip tech-world) said anything about control, tyranny etc? Ask any diabetic that has to inject themselves everyday if they would rather let a small dedicated sub-cutaneuos microchip accurately monitor and control their sugar levels, instead of them having to guess / take samples or injections with needles. There are probably thousands of positive examples where monitoring and management of health could vastly improve our lives, (eg cancer detection, cardiac monitoring, hormone level monitor / control, Cochlear implants) As for potentially tyranical non-health uses, such as State control, montioring etc... I certainly wouldnt want that either, but its a long way off, isnt it?
  • i think it's the mark of the beast. I don't care what anyone says. I wouldn't get it. N.O.
