  • People do that from time to time. In fact sometimes people ask a question so they can post something interesting they discovered. It's a way to share it with others. I've answered one or two of mine in the past. I don't see anything wrong with it personally.
  • It's OK if you're asking a conversational question...like "what was the best day of your life?" You can then put in what the best day of YOUR life was, and others can give their answers.
  • quite annoyed, i did cause no one had answered my great riot girl question.. i had too! so yeah. why not!
  • depends on the question. if it's an opinion, then sure, but if it's like, you don't know how to do something or having problems, then it's pointless.
  • I try not to answer my own questions, casue if I can answer them then I didn't need to post them onto Answerbag in the first place.
  • Depends, if it's a factual question like "What is the thrust capacitance of an lx-5 proton generator?", or advice like "My dog has a hard spot on his stomach and I found a small white pill, could I be pregnant?" I'd say don't answer it. But if it's asking for personal experience, like "What was the first sandwich you made?", or opinion, like "What would you name a pet dinosaur?", go ahead and answer.

  • No, not at all. You will probably get more intelligent answers that way.
  • No. The format of Answerbag dictates that you sometimes give an example in an answer. With the limited amount of space for the question, it can be misunderstood.
