I just got back from West Marine. I got a "free" sailboat and trailer couple years ago that needs some work before I can get it on the water. A recent trip to a lake got me motivated to get it fixed. I was at West Marine to get some of the supplies I need to do the work. I just wandered around the store thinking about what I could do with so much of the stuff there.

Either a fabric/sewing/craft store or a book store. Either one, take me there and you won't be able to get me out after I've had my fill, and it takes a looooonnnnggg time to get my fill:-)

There's a special place in Germany called "Gandalph" and we have one in Denmark called "Faraos Cigarer" = "The Cigars of the Pharaoh" and those are just great comic book, fantasy merchandise stores! and very unique, too.

There is one called Enchanted Knights, http://www.enchantedknights.com/ that is a little place with a medieval flavor. I could spend HOURS in there.

The tools and hardware section of Sears, Beverages and More, and any fishing and gun store. The one that makes me feel like a kid though is the model train and hobby stores. I could browse them for a while too and lose track of time.

any bookstores, the library... or the most recent place i've been, the boyd's bear store in gettysburg!!! my best friend and i stayed in there so long, that our boyfriends wondered if we'd gotten lost or gone back to north carolina

the soapbox in seattle..tons of wonderful bath stuff..and rainbow grocery in san francisco...its a co-op vegitarian grocery store..no place like it!

Circuit City or Fry's. I also have a soft spot for Costco but what buying in bulk really takes up a lot of space at home.

Quest Bookshop. It's a metaphysical store in my area. I can't go in there with more than $20.

Godiva Chocolatiers where the real 'candy' is!! Any good shoe store, hardware store, or arts & crafts shop, as well as the bookstore or library -- any one of them can keep me entertained for hours!

the local Indian grocery store, so many wonderful looking goodies, I have a hard time deciding what to buy, everything looks yummy
