A "reason" assumes there is thought involved and I don't remember ever thinking about loving someone...you feel the emotion, or at least I do and don't question it. It is or it isn't. :)

well since ive never been in true love, i tend to make up reasons like "you will do everyday things better because you will have more meaning in life" and stuff like that. ive pretty much given up on that and am trying to have love find me

Love is a fickle thing. It shows up whenever it wants and sometimes just leaves without warning.

I love people because God loved me even when I did not deserve His love and He even became a man and bled, suffered, and died for my sins against Him on the cross of Calvary for me. So, if the Lord saw me as worth all of that and loved me even when I spat in His face and rebelled against Him, I most definitely should love others unconditionally, even if I do not even know them, and even if they hate me, I must love them.
