I don't understand why it would be rejected- if you can congatulate me for becoming a Maestro, why not Jax for becoming a Sage? This I TOTALLY don't understand. I'm taking it to the blog.

It looks like a retaliation flag to me. Someone got his or her panties in a wad over something you or Jax wrote or did and flagged the question out of flat-out spite. The mods didn't really look at the question and auto-approved the flag. Unfortunately, this kind of thing happens from time to time. Bring it up through feedback or in the Blog.

Does the person flagging the Question for Nonsense realise that they are now not only affecting the questioner but all the people that have answered that question. Maybe I am wrong but I seem to think Joel said in the Blog that not only the questioners lose their points but all the people that have answered the question also, in contrast to previous policy. I would like to know if I imagined this or if I am correct.
