I saw someone take out a gun at a tube station and the police leap on him a split second later. I'm not sure what he was intending to do with the gun, but it was pretty frightening.

Does Faces of Death count? It's a movie but it showed a real killing. Real footage. This guy turned around in a courthouse and shot the molester of his son right in the temple. Was a trip. I think they even showed it in slow motion. Anyway, I have never witnessed a murder in person. But, I've witnessed an attempted murder.
