look it up on the deed, or go down to the tax assessor's office and ask them, or go down to the local library and access the towns historical papers.

Check with the tax assessors office. They should know. If not, historical tax rolls should be available. Statrt searching them for the first time a house appeared on the rolls

If normal places dont work, look in or behind the electricty box. Often the little parts in them are date marked, and are installed within a year of manufacture. If its wood frame, the wood may also be marked. (go into the roof). Another alternative is check your neighbours houses. In many suburbias, adjacent houses are often build around same time, often by the same companies.

The county records office should have that information as well.

CHECK WITH THE COUNTY COURT HOUSE AT THE ASSESSOR'S OFFICE OR THE AUDIT DEPT FOR THE AGE OF THE HOME IF IT EXISTS. IF NOT HAVE A ELECTRICIAN COME IN AND CHECK THE WIRING TO SEE HOW OLD IT IS. THEY WOULD KNOW BY THE TYPE OF WIRING FOR THE APPROXIMATE AGE OF THE HOUSE.

Try looking under the lid, on the back of the toilet. The date the toilet was manufactured should be on the underside of the lid. Unless the toilet has been replaced, this i pretty close to the year your place was built.
-
Go around to the back side of the house. Look under the eve. Lift up the siding, right where it touches the roof. Right there, it should say when the house was made, where it was made and by whom.
