Help answer this question below.
I regret not being sociable enough. I've probably missed out on a lot due to my social phobia.
Once upon a time I would have been able to write a list of regrets..I dont really have any now..its all been a learning experience and made me who I am..no regrets
Not becoming a lawyer, before I had children. I just don't have the energy anymore. +4
Not taking better care of my teeth while I was still covered by my parents Insurace.
You assume that I only have one regret? Well, I have a long, long list...most of them small. However, my biggest regret is marrying my ex.
Not doing what I do now sooner!

it sucks, not having the courage to just talk to someone

Have you always not had the courage to talk to people?
by Stillme FBB on August 14th, 2007
in person, yeah

The reason I ask is my husaband is the same way, what he misses in not talking he makes up for by listening! Sometimes I get so mad at him, it's like talk to me! What are you thinking? But he has come along way, he talks to me alot more than he used to, and when he does have something to say, He SAYS IT. I like a quiet guy, there's something mysterious and charming about them. :)+5

i've tried getting over it, but i dont seem to be able to. besides, other than the fear of talking to others, i'm a closed off person anyways. i don't like showing people how i feel. it's good that he's come along way. it takes a lot of courage for those who find it hard to do it.

Yes it does. Is it all people or just girls, or everyone. Keep trying, just start with, hi, and look them in the eye. Each time it will get easier. If nothing else answer a few questions. I know this sounds reallllll silly, do you ever talk out loud to yourself? I have a good reason for asking. So tell me, please.

Everyone, but girls even more than guys. And no, I don't talk out loud to myself. Eye contact is also difficult with me.

Well, some people don't hear their own voice enough, I'm very serious. You need practice. I'm not kidding, I wouldn't do that to you! Try looking at yourself in a mirror and talk, just say anything, get used to your voice. Do this at least once a day for maybe a week, and then talk to someone, even someone at the check out at the store, they don't know you, they won't know you don't always talk, it will be easier that way. Try it. I'm not crazy, look up my profile, I'm a teacher. :)And I want to know when you do. Okay? Give it a try. Who'll know? YOU! That's all.
