  • This might sound dumb, but go to a job search area like monster.com and see if there are any jobs of that sort available in your area. I would also contact the F.B.I, and ask them, they would seem more likely to need one. You may even go to a forensics lab, to see if there are jobs available, for just handwriting analasyts. Banks may even hire them, for cases of stolen checks, proving in court, that the signature is or is not the check holders signature. Good luck!
  • Check the job pages of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS - www.aafs.org) or the International Association for Identification (www.theiai.org) and for the division of the IAI in your state. Make contact with people in your state IAI and ask them about the training and education you would need to become a viable candidate. It's a tough, tight, small field.
