  • Yup. I experience this about 4-5 times a year, luckily, it doesn't last more than a day or so. Its the weirdest thing because my mind will be telling me, "Why are you depressed? You have a pretty good life w/o any serious problems!!" But I still can't help but feel down.
  • YES this ha[[ens to me quite often, I always figure there is most likely a reason, its not comming to mind currently.
  • Sorry to be so morose, but, yes every day x
  • I can recall times when I just felt gloomy for no apparent reason, I wouldn't go as far as to say depressed.
  • Beautiful question! I'd say that "What are you depressed about?" has to be the least helpful question in existence. Since depression is about chemicals in the brain, it is quite possible to be depressed when everything is going perfectly. Your brain chemistry doesn't know things are going perfectly, just as a hallucinating schizophrenic doesn't know that there *isn't* a rattlesnake in his easy chair.
  • I suffer from depression so I know what causes it but I still get the question "what are you depressed about?". I usually reply "lithium" ;)
  • Hahaha! I always know why.
  • Yup. 1 minute i can be happy and the next i'll get so depressed that all I wanna do is be alone in my room sleeping and I dont know why
