  • I think deliberately stopping others is much worse, because you don't have the right to interfere with others. Whatever you do to yourself is your own business.
  • The latter, although I don't know how you'd go about that. There's nothing wrong with improvement, and I can't really think of what these "costs" would be. What risks come with self-improvement?
  • Stopping others, this has a rebounding effect on you. I've known people like this, what sad little people they are.
  • If you're improving youself at any cost, you're affecting people, but maybe not intentionally. That's kind of conceited and makes you come off to be a bit of a jackass. If you're stopping other people from improving themselves, you're *really* conceited and an even bigger jackass.
  • How can one person deliberately stop another from improving themselves? Every person is in control of their own destiny. Self improvement comes from within, its like a reflective pool, if you see yourself changing than others will too.
