Well no... if they all have their place. But if it interferes with things you actually need and use on a daily basis, as in hindering you from getting to it, maybe it is time to give it up. :)

Who says you don't really need them? Only you know what is necessary to your well-being. No one else can answer for you...stand your ground..don't be bullied..that is censorship and judging and that is not a good thing. Tell him to keep his eyes on his own plate..let him get rid of his stuff..he has no right to tell you to get rid of your stuff. :)

As long as it really IS tidy and not just you saying it's tidy and clutter free so you can keep it. Being a pack rat is only a problem if you HAVE a problem. If you can't have other things because your "junk" takes up too much room- that's a problem. Otherwise, if you REALLY ARE keeping it neat, clean, and organized you shouldn't have any problems.
