As much as you are willing to chip in towards battery replacement. Then again, I never paid more than $1000 for a car anyways.

buying the car: $23,350 filling up the tank: $80 saving the world: pricless

i want to save the world, but the quality of the prius isnt inspiring, the toyota hybrid that has like 400 or 500 bhp is certainly interesting, id buy that

Nothing.

I would get an electric car or a gas car, but not a hybrid. You have to have twice the engine/ battery weight. It can actually be less fuel efficient then a normal gas combustion vehicle due to the extra weight. And you have no cargo space.

I would be willing to pay 25,000 to 30,000 for a Hybrid...Today i was talking with someone who has one and he say" he fill his car up once a month". He lives on the other side of indy and drives back and forth for work daily...I would do it for that alone with gas prices the way they are....

I would be willing to pay a lot more for a hybrid vehicle these days with the high gas prices...and of course, you can't forget the hybrid vehicle tax credit.
