  • No. If someone wants to do that, they can get that user's email address and have all the private discussion they want with them elsewhere.
  • No, Answerbag is opened to all if you ask it, we all should be able to answer and comment
  • Just ask the Aber in private to answer it. Don't post it in a question form. For example: "Friend ABer, would you answer this question..." That will get flagged. The staff won't add a feature like that because they want each question to have the same opportunity to be answered.

  • Not at all. I would never ask a question in public that was meant for just one person. And I hope there is not just one qualified person to answer any question here. If I would like an answer from one person, I'll let that person know somehow if I can't find their email addy. It's the universality of the place that makes it so wonderful to ask the questions and read all the responses.
  • No, I wouldn't want to miss out on the benefit of a perspective from someone I didn't previously interact with. We get different/more info, and make more friends.
