Anyone else had to get their drivers license renewed lately? I went today and they had free popcorn and soda. Why is it such a horrible task to get done?

I had to renew mine back in May, it expires for me every 5 years. It wasn't as bad as I thought, they didn't bring up any outstanding parking fines. I did however have to pay 75 dollars, but it could be worse, my friend got a ticket for speeding 3 times and then she lost her license, and to renew it would be 1500 dollars! So I got off easy.

its a hassle here becoz of long lines.

I think it just seems inconvenient to most people. I had to practically drag my husband there for him to finally renew his... it's easy, just inconvenient.
