YES!!!! I am so ridiculous. I start shopping and wrapping WAY early and both my husband and mother ALWAYS end up getting presents days, weeks...months...early because I get SUCH a kick out of it that I can not wait to give them their gifts!!! Then, I always end up buying ADDITIONAL gifts at the last minute so as to still have something to give on the day of.

While buying, because I think they will really like the gifts. Not wrapping, I'm not good at it and it's a pain in my arse.

I should never buy presents early..even by one day. I get so excited I have to give it to them. Christmas is the worst!!! So then I spend more money to buy more presents. I keep thinking that next year will be different but I know better. I know me.

When I was younger I never really understood the saying "Tis better to give than to receive" it was only until I got older, got a REAL job and had lots of money to spend on people. I LOVE to get people REALLY nice expensive gifts they would never dream of getting themselves. For mother's Day I bought my mom a $450 handbag...I wouldn't dream of spending this on myself, but it made me really happy to get her something special and luxurious.
