    No,

We believe, Sex is a sacred event between male & female, that should be kept within the bonds of marriage.

My whole church life I have never heard anyone talk about it with others, other than the teaching of our children about remaining VIRTUEOUS & CHASTE.

In an answer to another question (See http://www.answerbag.com/a_view.php/35319 ), a participant posted the text of an article by Thelma “Granny” Geer, titled, “Mormonism's Salvation By Grace or by Eternal Marriage and Sex?”

The thesis of this article is that Mormon belief is based on an unhealthy preoccupation or obsession with sex.

There's a joke I heard long ago.  The story goes that a psychiatrist is administering a Rorschach test (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rorschach_inkblot_test ) to a patient.  With each random inkblot that the psychiatrist shows the patient, and asks the patient to describe what he sees in it, the patient describes something sexual in nature.

At the end of the test, the psychiatrist tells the patient that he seems to have an unhealthy obsession with sex.  The patient responds by telling the psychiatrist that he (the psychiatrist) is the one with all the dirty pictures.

The “Granny” Geer article reads like the view that the patient in this story must have had of the psychiatrist's inkblot pictures.  It cites several quotes allegedly from Mormon authors — many of these quotes being of doubtful authenticity, authority, and/or relevance, and most of which contain no reference to anything sexual — and then explains for each quote, how, in the author's view, this quote reveals some unhealthy sexual obsession on the part of the person being quoted, and on the part of LDS beliefs as a whole.

One thing is very clear.  This article does seem to reveal an unhealthy and rather extreme obsession with sex.  But this obsession is not on the part of the people being quoted, nor on the part of the LDS religion; but on the part of the author of that article.  It is Ms. Geer who was looking at things that have nothing to do with sex, and seeing them as sexual references, just like the patient in the joke.

Pfa. No, that sounds a lot like weird Pagan crap. We mostly talk about the life of Christ, how to lead a self sufficient, moderate lifestyle, and other normal Christian subjects. Shocking, isn't it?
Yes, many Mormons have a lot of children. Mormons value the family, and want to bring spirits from heaven into good righteous homes. But unlike Catholicism, which is very anti-birth control, our church teachers that you should have as many (or as few) children as you either want or can handle.
We preach chastity until marriage! And then, the church doesn't even attempt to mandate what goes on behind closed doors. It's never discussed, sex. Just chastity, really.
We are concerned with better things like, I don't know... Salvation?

When I read the phrase "fertility religion"--I was thinking that the term should be used on Baal-and-Ashteroth worship. We believe in being chaste (see 13th Article of Faith) and in complete loyalty to spouse when married.
