My portfolio has only minorly fluctuated. Some are up, some are down, some are way up, others are WAY down. There is documentation that states during no seven year period in the markets history, has there ever been a loss. If you leave it alone, it will grow. The author was quick to point out that the seven year profitability periods even inclde the years of the stock market crashes.
