From what I gather it is legal to purchase weed from any pot bar in Amsterdam but it it is illegal to sell it on the streets. I also believe that it is legal to grow it as well but any legal pot has to meet government standards of purity. Does this sound accurate. I'm basing this upon what friends of mine have reported about how Amsterdam operates.

hi ive heard u get detained and have to pay a heavy fine for breaking the law and if u are unable to pay it u must "work it off" witch in a prison might be a bit of a nasty punishment i suggest u try to keep a low profil and have fun! i know i will:)
