You watched Lady In The Water didn't you? But yes I would. Everyone's going to die someday anyway. The most I would ever hope for is that I'd be able to do or make something that would last longer than myself.

If you have strong enough beliefs to write a book that could bear an impact on the world, then chances are that you are brave enough to carry on those same beliefs outside of authoring the book. If you can look at it like that, then you are as equally at risk writing the book as you are not writing it. If I would be able to stand up for my beliefs, knowing that I am changing the world for the better, then I am already taking a risk, so why not?
