Cowboy-Matter of Fact

Question

Help answer this question below.

I have a lot of fun here but I also learn many interesting things. I was triggered to find out about "gypsies" and I found it fascinating. Does this site trigger you to dig deeper into things?

Unit22 - I have been amazed and I have learned so much here at AB and have met some really special friends - I was so lost when I came here and now I feel 99 percent better and want to learn more and more everyday

At least three or four times a week, normally more.

Especially if I am in comments with someone and need to make a good point, I like to check and be sure that I have my facts straight.

Yep all the time and not always things triggered from AB, also from books I have been reading, things I read in the newspaper, etc. I check the wikipedia site everyday for the current headlines, their topics of the day and 'what happened on this day'. That always triggers me to research further. This is one reason I thin kthe internet is the best thing that ever occured. It makes it so easy to find information quickly. Before this I would go about my daily routine with a notebook of things to check out at the library....drove me crazy when I lost it....and you couldn't always find info at the library either!

    Uhm... wow.

Is the friend you are honoring Rromani?? For those that do not know, his current avatar is the Rromani flag.

And to answer the question... yes. Often. If I see something that I do not know about, I am often interested enough to do a bit of research.

Yes it does. The questions that make do research are my favorite to answer. It exposes me to things that I might not have been exposed to otherwise. Good question Unit 22.

Often. That's just one of the things I enjoy about this site. There are many.

Fine praise for this "Arisztid" fellow. I will have to keep an eye on him so that I can hopefully learn from him.

I have noticed similar qualities in you also unit22.

I hesitate to answer my own question but I feel a need to do so. I think that Arisztid is one of the finest people I have ever come across. I just feel the need to say it. Dude is special, and I have no reservations about saying that I think regardless of rank or time spent at this site he is one of the best AB'ers here.

Ender is back.. And slightly confused.

This site has caused me to go from devout Atheist to Agnostic and prompted me to teach myself about Religion and Spirituality in order to become more understanding.

Yes I have learned or relearned a lot on AB . I find that people make a comment or ask a question and I wander off to find out what I can about the subject.

I enjoy the social aspect of the site but I also enjoy reading opinions and researching.

I am amazed at all I learn here. At least once each day there is something that makes me go hmmmm I didn't know that. And most everyday I go in search of finding more out about something and often get completely sidetracked and have to share all these new things I learned with my husband and family. I have numerous new bookmarks/favorites to explore about other subjects because they just struck me as so interesting and I don't want to forget about them. I think it is one of the very best reasons for exploring on AB.

    Sometimes.

You have to download the Stumble Upon toolbar, everyone LOVES it. Its a toolbar that allows you to stumble through sites depending on what you like, then you can set it to like Wikipedia for instance so that you can stumble through random articles on wiki. I have found so many great sites and knowledge through this toolbar. And its backed by Yahoo and Microsoft amoung others as well....

All the time, I might come to AB to start out - - but I often leave when I find something interesting to research.
