  • No, I do bath towels with my bed sheets and pillow cases. Dish towels I put in with t-shirts and stuff like that.
  • Yes, I do and I always add a shot of Clorox to the water
  • I wash all my towels together so the lint from them won't get on my other clothes or bedding.
  • Sometimes but not always.
  • Yes, I wash all my towels together.
  • Yes, because they usually don't touch anything except washed dishes. I use paper towels for hands.
  • The reason I ask this question was I got to thinking the other day when I was washing all of them together(because I'm a germ freak at times) that when I was drying my towels I found a hair & couldn't figure out how, then it hit me. Were taking our bath towels & wash clothes that we clean ourselves with everywhere & washing them with our dish towels that we clean & wipe our dishes we eat off of. Usually I let my dishes air dry but if I'm in a hurry to go somewhere I'll dry them with a towel. I think I'll start drying them with paper towels now, lol. ty for the answers, pts to all who answer
  • i wash all towels in hot water with bleach and always machine dry - the hot dryers are what kill all the germs not the washers
  • My dish towels get washed with the whites. They are the only white towels I own.
  • I hear what you're saying, but what could be on your dishes (or on you) that would cause you to worry about co-mingling? Washing with detergent is a very effective method of killing germs. That said, I use a paper towel to dry my hands when handling raw meat and fish.
  • Sometimes. More often I wash my towels with my sheets and dish towels with clothes
