No, I rarely pay attention to commercial testimonials. I don't see why a celebrity would be a better authority on toothpaste or a carpet cleaning company than any other person would.

No in fact some of the time I refuse to buy things advertised by certain people ie. Kate Moss. Andi McDowell is good, but most other people I just ignore, the famous face is a waste of money
