It’s really sad that people with cancer, AIDS, and other serious ailments that use medical cannabis to help ease pain and suffering are aggressively hunted down and prosecuted by our federal government. Another problem is that federal judges forbid these patients from mentioning Prop. 215 or medical marijuana to the jury. They end up looking like drug kingpins in the eyes of the jury. Medical cannabis patients account for less than 1% of California’s population yet over half the federal cases involve medical marijuana.
