I probubly wouldn't. Instead I would go to a private dog breeder. (which i've done with all my dogs). It always depends on the person and there personality or their likes and dislikes. In my oppinion i prefer dogs from a private breeder because they tend to be more happier because they have been associated with by people thier whole life. Hope this helps♥ RaineOx

No. I wouldn't be in the pet store to buy an animal at all. There are plenty of wonderful animals in shelters who need homes.

No I would get my pets from the animal shelter. I did get my last dog from my son-in-law who breeds Chihuahua so I know who the mother and father were to my dog. And he only breeds his female twice a year.

No. If people stop buying puppies from pet stores, puppy mills will have no one to sell their animals to. Please, don't buy your pup from a pet store. You're just contributing to the problem. Go to the shelter, the humane society, or a reputable breeder.

Absolutely NOT. No, hell no. My 2 dogs were rescued from a mill and here is the short list of conditions they were found with: Yeast infections in their ears Intestinal infections Throat abrasions (a block of wood to prevent barking, one can barely make a peep) Underweight/malnourished Terrified of people Not a chance. Puppy mills are evil.

Not a chance. Actually, I would never buy an animal from a pet store in the first place.

No I would not. People who run puppy mills put their dogs through hell. I would help make it so they did not make profit from me- so maybe if enough people stop buying then they will stop breading puppies.

I can't afford a pet store puppy, so that's my primary reason for not getting it that way. Besides, why get a pet store puppy when there are SO MANY UNWANTED PUPPIES elsewhere. Scan craigslist for three days, I can almost guarantee that you can get a great deal on an animal with potential tons of personality.

NO i would do whatever i had to do to put both out of business. a pet store that buys from puppy mills are just as bad.

No. I would adopt from the shelter anyway. But if I were to buy a dog I would make sure they are bred and treated right.

No chance in hell, that's why I won't even consider buying from a pet store, you never know where the puppies are coming from!

Yes, because a dog is a dog. That puppy can choose where it is born or where it goes. I got one of my dogs from a pet store and he saved my life when I was a toddler. But puppt mills dont change how a puppy behaves or acts so its still a puppy and a killer dog
