This happens a lot after I get finished a night shift (like tonight). I guarantee in the morning I will have a hard time falling asleep. It's such a pain.

Since I like to drink often and tonight is no exception, I shall enjoy a peaceful oblivious slumber. That's one reason why I do it because I hate sleepless nights. I don't advocate it but I tend to do it because I am such a light sleeper, I must have been a sentry in a former life or something. A preoccupied mind is the worst prescription for a good night's sleep. I suggest meditation and relaxation techniques or a pleasant night of drinking beer with a prescribed amount meant to deliver an expected affect - sleep. Well I know counting sheep won't cut it. Relaxing Yoga exercises may put you at comfortable ease.

...What's wrong with my ceiling?

Abnormal insomniac.... I've counted my ceiling tiles... 108... and watched the cieling fan. I've layed down so tired I couldn't get up, closed my eyes and not been able to fall asleep... even after 4 hours. Going to bed almost always takes a while!
