I'm not sure why or where you should do anything, except lay off the caps-lock key. Her situation with her dad is her own to deal with. She has to have the strength to seek real help to end the situation on her own. If your feelings die when you hang up the phone, I think you are in some dire need of introspection and relationship analysis.

your girlfriend needs you. Its hurting you because you are probably feeling you are to blame for him hitting her and you prob feel you cant help but you can help. Just find a way to get her away from living like that and then concentrate on your relationship but make sure she is safe more than anything. good luck xx
