Hitler used to enjoy watching many non-german made movies while he stayed at the Berghof . He must of had some command of the English language if he watched & loved such movies as King Kong, & The Lives of a Bengal Lancer (i.e American movies of the thirties) He probably had a basic knowledge of English but would never use it in a normal conversation.
