  • no, not at all. satanists simply do not agree with organised religion. proper practitioners of magic normally follow paganism.
  • Naa... I for example, can most accurately be called a LaVeyan Satanist, since I follow the Satanic Bible written by Anton Lavey... But he was just a man ; ) I'm free to accept and discard any part of it that I want to, and as such I have accepted the philosophies and attitudes, and rejected the magic and chanting : ) It doesn't conflict with anything else either, the only part of what I follow that even mentions magic with any seriousness is the 7th Rule: "Acknowledge the power of magic if you have employed it successfully to obtain your desires. If you deny the power of magic after having called upon it with success, you will lose all you have obtained." Now, since I have never even tried to 'call upon the power of magic', this is pretty much an irrelevant rule to me : ) So no... not all Satanists practice (or even believe in) magic. I imagine that some Satanic schools of thought don't even mention the subject of magic at all *shrugs*
  • No. Only the real ones.
  • I don't think so. There are the ones who pretend to do magic, and the ones who realize that it doesn't work. Point of order: I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this before, but magic is actually not real. I know this is hard for some to fathom, but 9 out of 10 experts agree.
  • I didn't know Satanists practiced magic...I thought it was witchcraft
