i like all types of music. i grew up listening to oldies (60s and 70s) because my dad liked them. whitney houston and dionne warwick were my mums favourites. frank sinatra etc where my nans music. and i love bits of everything. all music is good except opera lol

I actually tend to be fond of a wide range of music. Although classical piano would be my choice, there are many other songs like rap, rock, and other genres that I appreciate.

I'm particularly fond of drum & bass, so I feel what you mean in asking this question. Drum & bass heads tend to be "Cult-like" in their genres... I say I appreciate all music, but I really dont.. I used to like Rock and Hip Hop, for instance, but once I really got into electronica and Drum & Bass I now HATE most Rock and Hip Hop. I HATE ALL radio music. Everything is "Pop" these days. But I have evolved on from that. I LOVE World Music and ethnic music. I love all forms of reggae and Island music. I love experimental eclectic eletronica music (as long as its well recorded/produced). I like Dub AND dubstep A LOT. Very Rarely will I meet anyone who also listens to what I listen to and who isn't sucked in to listening to the Crap on the radio.

I like a wide range of music. Depending what I'm in the mood for or what mood I'm in, directly relates to what genre and or songs I listen to at that time. :)

Everything although I am not too fond of the current pop scene (and I am including a lot of supposed rock bands in that as well). But as for genres I like everything from Johann S Bach to Sebastian Bach. :) I always say this, "There are only two genres of music; good and bad" - Miles Davis (more or less)

I appreciate a wide range of different music and instruments. I like jazz, classical, new age, hard rock, acid rock, folk, blues, and some country. I can't think of a single musical instrument that I don't like but I guess my favorites are guitar, sax, trumpet, violin, bass, xylophone, and flute.
