Question

Help answer this question below.

I had a job interview today; I know they are interviewing 2 more girls. To stand out, I sent the 3 people that interviewed me a Thank You e-mail for their time. Would you send a Thank You e-mail, even thou the job is not yours yet, and why?

I've given many more interviews than I've been interviewed, and getting a thank-you like that is NEVER a bad thing. It's a nice courtesy and a nice touch.

Absolutely! It will set you apart from the crowd. You might also ask if there is anything more you can tell them that might make you the prime candidate for the position. :)

Always send a thank you email or letter. On the ones I send, I thank them for taking the time to meet with me, reiterate that I want the job and briefly list what skills/attributes I possess that would be beneficial to the company.

I would go one extra step and send a written thank you note or card. It used to be considered almost a mandatory thing to do, and hardly anyone does it anymore. That would really make you stand out.
