If God were evil, he wouldn't have created.

I suppose Satanist's would believe in God and think he is evil. Because alternatively, they believe Satan to be good. That's only my assumption, I've never met a Satanist.
-
Because not only are we taught that God is good. If you look at his creations, his commandments, and his people (who are basically good, althought we all have our faults), then you can't come to any conclusion other than that he is good.

While disease and natural disasters can make life occasionally unpleasant for us on a singular level, it also changes our lives and challenges us to adapt and become better people. The beauty in the world and the universe far outways any percieved negatives. Since God created the world, and the world is a good place, God is good. Now, Satan and demons are spiritual beings with free will like us that choose only to do evil and wreck havoc. Different story.

I don't believe in God, but if I actually thought he was real, there is only one way to describe what I would think of him and that was is a quote from Pitch Black:"I absolutely believe in God and I absolutely hate the fucker"

People who believe in God know that He is good. We wouldn't have such faith if God were evil. Do you think Jesus was evil? Jesus said, "Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father" -John 14:9 This is how I know that God is good!
-
I dont believe in god, but the biblical concept of said god is quite evil.

I don't believe in god, but it seems to me that he play politics. Worship me before other gods, yada yada yada, so by his OWN assertion there are other gods, so maybe this guy is the Karl Rove of the Deities. Maybe he just has the best PR guy. And all that stuff with The Big J-man was just a publicity stunt. Yeah it kinda makes sense, why he flip flops on things like eye for an eye and turn the other cheek. Wow the more I think about it the more sense it makes.

Dystheism is the belief that God may not necessarily be a good entity, and that he may even be evil. This is derived from misotheism, which is the hatred of gods and deities. So, there are some people who do not believe that God is wholly good, whether they are biased or presenting true belief. There are many interpretations which define dystheism, such as God farming humanity for his own enjoyment, which stems back from similar but much older cultural myths and lore which spawned misotheism to begin with. Luciferianism also has people worshipping the qualities of Lucifer before he became a fallen angel, although I'm unsure if they consider God in their beliefs, I mean, they must, and that if they do, consider him to be evil for chastising Lucifer. :/

I have heard from Christians that God does not love everyone and that he is capable of hating people, but I have never actually heard any say that he is evil. However, in my final years as a Christian, I believed that God had the same level of morality as a human, which can be evil at times.

God gathers free choice. I think that he prefers good to evil, but where choice is made it serves him either way. See my Screed on Quantum God and free will Here ... http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/7490701
