Can anti-psychotic medication cause breathing problems and throat irritation and tightness?

    I wouldn't be surprised, but without knowing the particular medication, it's impossible to say. There should be a patient information sheet which came with the prescription which describes known side-effects along with the appropriate response. If you don't have it, you can enter the name of the medication at one of the many prescriptioin drug reference sites, like http://www.webmd.com/drugs/index-drugs.aspx.
    Or ask your physician or pharmacist.
