With all the "What's the worst you could say" questions on AB, why can't I ask, "what's the worst you can say to somebody who just had a question/answer rejected"? How does that offend somebody and other "What's the worst you can say" questions do not?

I think an answer needs to be provided now since it hasn't received one yet for a while. In this reason, it may cause discouragement of one user. If you ask that question, then other users would look at the answers, and by looking at their rejected questions, they may feel that in a way that it puts them down. The other questions have not yet aroused any suspicion of any offensiveness. Most of these questions are just social questions and just ask for an answer, not an explanation.
