Looks a great boat but I get seasick in a rowing boat on the river.That tends to affect my appreciation. I am ok with racing Hobby Cats., just not the wallow of a yacht

The big advantage of a trailer-sailer is that you don't have to pay marina fees and you can drive to a different cruising area as often as you want. The idea of having a dagger board on a 26' boat has obvious advantages, but I would hope for it to be very strong indeed if I was out in a blow.

They are fairly popular in my area (Great Lakes) in particular up in Georgian Bay, where navigation is tricky due to numerous shoals. The draft on these boats is what makes them popular as you can get into some tight spaces that a full keel won't allow.
