Since I was a little girl I have unknowingly and knowingly been friends with gay boys. Can anyone explain why this may be?

If you know many boys, and please do not quote me on this as this is second hand information, but I was told that one in ten have gay tendencies. Be proud of yourself though, because you must be a very non-judgmental person who accepts people for who they are. That is a very fine quality and possibly why you have found they may have a stronger attraction to your friendship than others.

this may be because they may be acting freely as good friends to you and possibly there is no threat of any further expectations from you.guess you are more comfortable in a healthy relationship other than any anger or jealousy or whatsoever it may be.

I've been told alot of women find that gay guys give better company. This could be because they can be more sensitive and understanding at times. Little philosophy here, but men and women have different 'meathods' of conversation. Women talk to avoid conflict while men talk to get the point across. I'm sure having to go through school acused of being gay would make anyone want to talk in the 'conflict-avoidance' way. EDIT--> That being said, most people will prefer the company of someone who they don't find 'offensive' or hard to understand.
