Yes, it's a great book. By the way, Alice Goes Through the Looking Glass is the sequel. I like them both. You should read them.

i never have read the Lewis Carroll's books. but i have seen the disney movie & 2 live action versions of alice in wonderland

I've read both "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There". Enjoyed them both, much more so than the movies or TV shows about them, though I loved the visiual of the Cheshire cat:-)

Yes, I read it and the sequel, and absolutely loved them. All the imagination and child-like dreaming makes me wish that I was a kid again, when I could've actually believed these sorts of things could happen. I view it as the epitome of childhood's ability to fantasize. Oh, and the literary nonsense is perfect. :)
