Matthew 7 verse 11 is one of my many favorites. If ye then be evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father in Heaven give things to them that ask him? One that I think fits so many times in my life; Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brothers eye. Also Matthew 7 verse 5

The 23rd psalm has given me great comfort and protection over the years. In other words He has given me great comfort and protection over the years for which I am deeply grateful.

I have to go with the 23rd Psalm . . Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."

1st Corinthians 13, verses 1 - 13. 1) If I speak in the tongues[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2) If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3) If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,[b] but have not love, I gain nothing. 4) Love is patient, love is kind.
