Their is such a thing as a tomato/potato plant. It grows tomato on top and potato on bottom. Harvest the small tomato while you can. AFter they are done producing, dig at tge roots and see if I am right! Good luck!

these pods are the actual TRUE SEED of the potatoe plant. There is no crossbreed with tomatoes!!Hope this helps,i had them too!
-
cut them off! The whole purpose of a plant is to reproduce - to produce seeds and then die down allowing the seeds to take over. If your potatoes produce these fruits, you will not get a very good crop of spuds. chop them off, so that the plant will put its energy into producing tubers, thereby giving you a bigger crop of spuds

The flowering and fruiting really doesn't affect yield at all. If your potatoes are growing true seed it just means you had a good long moist growing season. But in tests they've done, flowering doesn't do anything negative. But those seeds in the fruit are the actual true potato seed.

They are nothing to worry about, but don't try to eat them. They are not tomatoes but are really potato seed. Although potatoes don't always produce seed it is perfectly normal.
