I dont know if my girl friend is REALLY my girl friend or if we are just really great friends. How do I find out!

That depends on what the circumstances are... I had a girl that i really liked, and shes liked me back... Well, i never officially asked her to be my girlfriend. It was just assumed that she was mine, and i was hers. In the end it came back and bit me, and she ended up (in my eyes) cheating on me. And her excuse was that if she was my girlfriend, she wouldnt have cheated on me. (I would have been but her dad didnt like me o.o). In essence, dont get to attached until you've asked her to be your girlfriend.

Tell her you'd like to take your relationship to another level and see each other exclusively as a couple. Her reaction will give you your answer.

from ur question i could feel it,she likes you lot infact loves you lot but scared of some endurance in future-may be about ur nature or her parents wish...so try to act atleast that you are completely a guy of her kind and give her confidence that her parents wil accept even she commits wit u..then automatically she ll be yours...so do it as soon as possible...try to get good name from her parents girls always get hopes from this..

My best friend and I had this same issue, it turns out we both liked each other (and still do) but neither of us are willing to commit to a relationship. Our friendship was almost ruined because neither of us knew how to bring the subject up and neither of us wanted to consider the other saying "no". We finally talked about it and now we are closer friends than ever. The quickest way to find out is to be honest, tell her how you feel and ask her how she feels.
