  • They view affection as something held sacred. As such, public affection is usually restricted to friendly hugs or brief kisses (except at wedding receptions ;-) ). It is rare that you would find an active, committed member of the Church participating in anything more sensual than this in a non-private, intimate setting.
  • Define "public display". I hug and kiss my wife often in public. We don't "make out". We hold hands every where we go. I often hold her close to me as we talk of private things...pertaining to our family and home. I see nothing wrong with this.
