Well for one thing for sure, we can take Lifetime's motto. Lifetime-Television for women It's self explanitory seeing the motto.

Because women will relate to any movie they play. We like emotional stuff, whether it be good or bad. Well, most of us. I prefer comedies and try not to watch Lifetime movies...just the Golden Girls!

Interesting question Stewie! I guess there's a certain satisfaction, possibly even relief, in seeing one's fears played out and resolved in a safe venue like television.

They put out nothing more than soap operas dealing with abuse, rape or molestation. Men are always the enemy and women are always victimized. Not the kind of stuff I want to feed my mind on.
