-
I actually have a Strawberry doll that I've since I was three.. I still sleep with it some nights.
-
Yes! I remember my "osito lindo" (pretty bear in Spanish).
-
Yes. He was small and beige coloured. He was furry in the beginning but over the years he gradually lost it all and eventually had to have a 'suit' stitched onto him to stop him falling apart and he had only one eye. I think he was called 'Little Ted'. I can't remember what ever happened to him.
-
No, I had a stuffed rabbit.

-
Yes, I did! I had several :)

Not a regular teddy. I had a huge panda bear. When I got him, he was almost as big as me. It was the one thing I held on to when my family flew to the USA from Belgium when we moved here. I remember a stewardess let me hold him and fall asleep in the aisle. Those were in the olden days, way back in the 50s. Plane was even a prop plane and not a jet LOL!!!

I broke my femur at just 1 year old. My father bought me a light brown puppet teddy bear at a grocery store down the street in hopes that it would keep my mind occupied while the doctor was putting me in a cast. The bear somehow got the name Baby Teddy and I slept with him EVERY night. When I was 15, I went on vacation with my best friend's family and somehow left Baby Teddy behind in a hotel we stayed at during our 2 day drive to our destination. We spent the whole vacation calling hotels, but he never turned up. My friend's father felt terrible, so he went out and bought me a small white teddy bear just so I would have something to sleep with at night. My friend's father passed away 2 years later, so now I really treasure that tiny little white bear. I call him Bobby Bear (my friend's father's name was Bob).

I still have mine! He was a baby shower gift a few weeks before I was born, so he's 26 years old now. His mouth has worn off, his nose fell off when my brother threw him across the room, and the squeaker in his tail stopped working (in other words, he looks worn and well-loved).
-
i have one named teddy i used to bite his nose off and have my mom sew it back on! i still have it too!
-
im sure i did, but i didnt treasure it like i did/do my little monjey guy with Velcro hands that i carried with me everywhere.

Yes, and I still have him. I called him The Pink Teddy Bear, then nicknamed him Pinky. (Not too imaginative) He is quite worn out by now, with a couple of holes, but I still love him!
-
Yes I did. His name was Wa-Wa and I still have him.
-
Yes his name is Danny Boy. My aunt & uncle gave him to me when I was almost 2 in the hospitol with typhoid & I've still got him. He was why I learned to sew at the age of 8 because he was getting holes & his lil buttons were starting to fall off so I had to sew him new ones on & I usually dressed him up daily like me. I still have him put up in my closet he has bandages on him too I think I put them on him when I got hurt in case he was hurting too.

-
Yes. He was a Winnie the Pooh bear made for me by a friend's mom. I couldn't sleep without him. I love him because he is homemade, and doesn't look like the cutesy Disney Pooh. And he's loved to death. Hair all falling out and stuffing lumpy. Perfect.
-
i still have every teddybear since i was younger still with me they fill half of my attic! :)
-
Not as far as I know. On 15 November 1968, which was a Friday, I announced that I preferred toy cars, buses &c to teddy bears.
-
I was given a Pink Teddy Bear on the day I was born by a girl named Jessica... the bear was named after her and I slept with it until I was in high school - and now I have put Jessica away in the cupboard all wrapped up with moth balls close by to make sure that I can show it to my kids... I can't bear to throw it out (no pun intended!!)
