  • I would have to say yes, but only under the MOST drastic conditions. If I walked into their home and they had a ton of Hitler worshiping memorabilia or something, and my significant other was ok with it, I'd probably break up with him. of it they were murderers, rapists, etc and he was ok with it. If he WASN'T ok with it, it wouldn't change our relationship in the least.

  • Yes, i guess so, that's why i tried to avoid it as much as possible...
  • I was told if you look at the mother (or father in the case of a boyfriend) there, right in front of your eyes is your partner 20 or 30 years down the line. It doesn't work though because my wife turned out to be much more like one of her aunts than her mother. In fact I often call her May (after the aunt) if I'm feeling particularly brave.
  • Not generally, unless that parent is a disorderly b*tch who's going to break us up no matter WHAT she/he has to do. I won't deal with that.
