Only a couple of times have I felt a little dumb (when in doubt, I don't answer questions), but am sometimes very impressed by peoples' very thoughtful answers to questions that I'm about to answer, to the point where I don't answer because I couldn't say it nearly as well as that.

Yes, when I have to correct myself because the answer I thought I knew was incorrect in my haste to answer the question. I am humbled by my never ending talent to answer questions incorrectly with confidence at the time of answering.

I do get that. But to never be humbled by someone else in my opinion, especially here where so many people of such intelligence roam, is being a bit conceeded. To think you always have the best answer, and that you can never be "out done" by a more perfectly worded and more touching answer, is more ignorant than anything. I do give answers to the best of my knowledge. Sure, I've had fun here or there, but that always helps me imo. But I'm not "jealous" that a better answer was given, I'm glad to see that someone could answer even better than I could. And often I'll give that person points. ^.^

No. I don't care.

Yeah, try not to take it too seriously. For me, sometimes I feel like an idiot for the questions I have asked, but not for my answers. I guess it would be very humbling if you didn't realize you were talking to yourself through a computer generated program, and let yourself feel like an idiot...in what way were you humbled?
