I just saw the movie 1408. Has anyone read the book and is it better than the movie?

The books are always better than the movies. My honest opinion is he hasn't written anything lately that is even romotely as scary as his earlier material.

1408 is not even a book, just a small story.. And I think they made a very great and CREEPY movie from a little to work from..

My daughter did. SHe said the book is better, though she really likes the movie. I enjoyed the movie also.

it was just a short story from Everything's Eventual a shorty story collection, neither version is quite that scary to me but ur choice, he's done much better short story wise in the past, read skeleton crew, night shift or others like those
