Do you prefer it when answerbaggers use a photo of them as their avatar or do you prefer an animated/cartoonish avatar?

Photos of themselves. I like to see whose asking and answering the questions.

Picture at first so I can find out what they are hiding behind the pc screen. Then they can change it.

I really don't care about it. Some ABers have earned the right to post their mug because some of them are quite nice to look at but its their contributions that matter the most, of course.

A cartoon or picture of something other than themselves, because most of the time you can't see it well enuff anyway.

Sometimes a cartooish pic will give a better idea of a person. Also, I don't have any shots of me that would work with such a small avatar.

It does not matter to me. I enjoy speculating as to the meaning behind the non-photograph avatars and enjoy seeing the faces of the photo ones.

I have no preference. Mostly because I like my rose. And it's nice to see some people. I just don't have a good enough picture of me that would show once condensed.
