I don't really "get" why most people like music that is the most popular (ie: on the major radio stations), because to me it's very bland, but I want to know what it is that people see in these bands. what is it about radio-friendly songs that you like?

I suppose it's usually the catchy tunes. Lyrics that are easy to remember so you can sing along. I'm not really sure why I like some popular songs.
