I give points for qualitive questions, and sometimes, I don't answer them at all. I just leave it alone and go on.

Yes. I do that because they already said what I was going to say, or something better, so I give them the points. (And not repeat or copy that way).

I sometimes do that to people who answer my questions. Not because they're good answers but because they took time out of their busy lives to try to help me.

I do that to those who answered my question and sometimes to all the answerers of a question I find I don't need to add anything. If the question has been well answered, I'll just point people and not answer myself.

Yes - Sometimes I intend to answer, but I look and find that the topic has been already handled well and there is nothing more to say. But it was a good question and deserved points - as did the excellent answers.

I do, as others have said, if I feel that one or more answer matches my response close enough... or if the question and/or one or more answers make me laugh... they always get points... Sometimes it gets too "angst-y" around here...

Yes. Sometimes it's because it's good ?? I'm just curious about others' response. Other times it's that my own answer was covered so well, that it's pointless to repeat.....like this answer is.
